REFECTIONS ON 2011 AND 2022 FLOOD EVENTS AND FUTURE EVENTS

A presentation by John Ruffini and Robert Ayre given on 25th May 2022

The talk was subtitled "Justice for the Engineers: The Dam Truth."

The presenters were part of the team that operated Somerset and Wivenhoe Dams during the 2011 flood events and that was subsequently involved in several enquiries followed by a class action in court.

The talk was well illustrated by slides including a number of cartoons that gave some relief to the gravity of the story.
